Harcus Sinclair was formed in January 2002

Since then, the practice has grown significantly and now comprises seven partners and 35 staff.  All the partners and fee-earners came from highly-respected London practices before deciding to join Harcus Sinclair’s specialist private client practice.

Our main areas of private client law expertise are non-contentious trust, tax and probate law, litigation and family law.  Our partners are amongst the UK’s leading lawyers in their practice areas.  One of the distinctive features of the firm is the close working relationship between private client lawyers specialising in non-contentious law and their colleagues in the contentious trust and probate areas.  In parallel, there is close working between the family law and trust and tax law practices (both contentious and non-contentious).
