Alison Meek is a litigator specialising in contentious trust and estate work.  She acts for both professional trustees and trust companies and for beneficiary clients in the UK and offshore.

She is a founder and committee member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) and contributes frequently to specialist journals in her field.  She is joint author of the Practitioner’s Guide to Contentious Trusts and Estates and a contributor to 'Finance and the Law for the Older Client’.  She is one of four editors of a new OUP book on International Trust Litigation to be published in 2011.

She has been appointed by the High Court as a replacement personal representative and is also a court-appointed deputy in the Court of Protection.  She has also been appointed to act as a protector.

She was described in Chambers 2010 as a forceful litigator who is tough but understands that there is always a human side to her cases.
