21/09/17

Harcus Sinclair has maintained its position as a Leading Firm for Private Wealth Law and Private Wealth Disputes in the recently published Chambers HNW 2017 guide.

Chambers HNW reports on “private wealth management work and related specialisms in key jurisdictions around the world, featuring in-depth editorial about the leading lawyers and law firms for wealthy individuals and families.”1 Independent and research-based, the Chambers HNW guide recognises the world’s leading high net worth advisers and is published annually.

Harcus Sinclair has maintained its position in Band 2 for both Private Wealth Law and Private Wealth Disputes, with six out of the eight partners in these combined practice areas recognised as being ‘Leaders in their Field’, and one deemed to be ‘Up and Coming’.

The firm is referred to as a “Specialist private client firm” with “a low-leverage, partner-led approach”. One source remarked, "I've been impressed with their approach - they give you good value and get straight to the point.”

In relation to the firm’s Private Wealth Disputes work, Harcus Sinclair is described as “a very niche firm with total commitment to private wealth disputes. They are a formidable boutique outfit with a number of fully dedicated specialist lawyers in this area." This firm’s litigation department is also praised for having "a real depth of expertise" and an "excellent client base."

The firm’s lawyers are described by a client as "very personal and understanding", who went on to say: "you feel like you are in an exclusive club, or a family. I honestly feel like there is a layer of protection over me and my family. I would trust Lucy [Gibson] and her team with my life."
