Harcus Sinclair features in The Legal 500 ‘Hall of Fame’31/07/18
Four of Harcus Sinclair’s partners have been selected to feature in The Legal 500’s ‘Hall of Fame’.
Keith Bruce-Smith, Lucy Gibson, Damon Parker and Alison Meek have all been ranked as leading lawyers by The Legal 500 eight times in the last 10 years and therefore qualify for inclusion in the awards.
Keith is a senior private client tax and trusts lawyer, who has over 35 years’ experience in trust and estate planning for HNW families, both UK domiciled and international. He also has a wealth of experience in advising on landed estates, and is a professional trustee of numerous large UK family trusts, in addition to being the protector of a number of substantial offshore trusts.
Lucy is an experienced private client trust and tax lawyer. She has a broad practice, advising private clients and trustees, both domestically and internationally, on a variety of litigious and non-contentious matters including trust variations and compromise proceedings, trustee removal proceedings and contested wills. In addition, Lucy frequently advises trustees in the context of claims against them, or in situations where trustees become involved (sometimes unwillingly) in proceeding ancillary to divorce.
Damon is head of the firm’s litigation department. He is responsible for establishing the firm's innovative approach to litigation case management and litigation funding. A recognized market leader in this area, Damon has extensive experience representing claimants in large group actions in financial services litigation with a particular focus on shareholder disputes and investment loss claims.
Alison is a litigator in the firm’s contentious trusts and estates team. She has extensive international and domestic experience acting for professional trustees and trust companies, executors and beneficiaries. She also has considerable experience in probate disputes involving testamentary capacity issues and substantial 1975 Act claims. Alison is a trained and accredited mediator with ADR Chambers, a founder member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists and is widely acknowledged as one of the leading practitioners and commentators in her sector.
