Pre-nups - where are we now?

Tessa Bray and Harpreet Khinda have written an article in the most recent edition of Resolution's monthly journal, 'The Review' on recent developments in the law relating to pre-nuptial agreements.  You can read the article in full here.

A pre-nuptial agreement is a formal agreement which is entered into by a couple prior to marriage or civil partnership.  It sets out who owns what at the time of the marriage and how the couple intends that their assets should be divided in the event of divorce or separation.

Harcus Sinclair's family department has a great deal of experience advising on and preparing pre-nuptial agreements.  If you would like to arrange a discussion with one of the department's partners, please contact Kathryn Peat on kathryn.peat@harcus-sinclair.co.uk.
